Ormskirk District

The Executive Committee 2007

The exec has recently re-branded Ormskirk Network (The King of Networks), continued to use the new e-mail and mobile phone system and with the help of Scott Spencer has introduced the re-vamped Ormskirk Network web-site.

The Exec have also recovered the network accounts and have run a number of explorer linking events as well as helping out at various different District Events.

	Chairperson - Smiler Smiler is chair for the second year running. Smiler is also the Vice Chair of West Lancs Scout Network and would like to see Ormskirk Network continue to grow as it has done recently. Smiler is also a newly qualified chartered surveyor and a keen squash player (when he wins).
	Secretary - Emma Liversidge Emma is currently putting lots of time and effort into creating effective minutes for Ormskirk Network, organising events such as the county ball and helping Chris with communications. Emma is currently training to be a teacher and is active within the Guides as well as helping at Equinox Explorer Unit.
	Membership and Social Secretary - Jenny Barrett Jenny is attempting to create links with the different explorer units as well as gain new members from the area. Jenny is a leader at the Ferrets Explorer Unit and loves her Green Old School Morris Minor (Mrs Norris).
	IT and Communications - Chris Prior Our IT wizard will be bringing his skills to Ormskirk Network by regenerating the Ormskirk Network Website and helping Moomin at County level. Chris is also in charge of the mobile phone lists and is a very active member. Chris along with Emma also find time to help at Equinox Explorer Unit.
	Officer Without Portfolio - Lucy Errington Having fairly recently settled back from her travels Lucy is putting as much time in as she can afford to improve network in different ways. Lucy has also started to help at the Eclipse explorers and is a keen runner and singer.
