Local Scout Network
Scouting has changed over the last few years... With the change of ventures to explorers (14-18 years) and Network (18-25 years).Here you will be able to; find out how to contact us, what we are doing, future events, and view photos and stories of past network events.
Welcome to the Ormskirk Network website. Ormskirk Network is made up of anyone involved in Scouting aged 18 to 25 in the Ormskirk District including Skelmersdale, Burscough, Rufford, Tarleton and Halsall and is part of West Lancashire Scout Network. We meet in the Windmill Inn, Wigan Road in Ormskirk most Sundays at 8pm for The New Mill Quiz and have a fun packed programme which you can check out below if you feel like joining come along and see what you think. One of the good things about the Scout Network is that members are free to come up with activities they would like to do, or something they are already doing, and allow other members of the Network to come along with them.
The Ormskirk Network was started in September 1999 and the Scout Association has since launched the Scout Network nationwide during 2002.

Network Ramble - Blencathra
Ormskirk Network climbed to the summit of Blencathra in the Lake District on the 2nd December. Had nice weather aswell (Wind, Sleet and Rain), so well done to everyone who braved the conditions, especially Jenny after ripping her pink hotpants half way up. Photos to be uploaded soon. Also a big thank you to Phil and Ash for helping with the organisation and driving. More Rambles to come (In Better Weather!)
Awesome Walls
Ormskirk Network went to Awesome Climbing Walls in Liverpool on the 27th November 2007. A fun time was had by everyone, and the photos are now in the gallery. Please select photos from the left hand menu.
